Since this is not the first time I have stayed at this hotel, I don’t have many new impressions. It was convenient for me to get to the places I wanted to visit. Everything in the hotel was as I remembered. The area is familiar, close to shops and walking areas. You can eat in any price range nearby. The very center of the city is easily accessible by tram, which is what I usually did, or by bus, which I am well aware of, but do not use. :)

This hotel is consistently good. There are floors for smokers and non-smokers. I choose a smoking room not because I smoke, but because I can easily light incense there. This year many new restaurants have opened nearby. There is a large food store within walking distance and a convenience store right across the street. Modern laundry is close to the food store. So, the hotel and area around are very convenient.

Since I'd somehow ended up in a smoking room, the staff were lovely and willing to accommodate me, but unfortunately, the hotel itself is older, and some things never come out of the walls. If you're smoke sensitive, be aware that there may be no rooms that won't cause an issue.

It was very close to Luffy station and walking distance of chopper’s. Fukuoka airport limousine stops a few minutes down the street which made settling in less of a hassle.

As I mentioned previously the property is good located for my visits. The environment is convenient, so it’s easy to reach the center of the city and the Kumamoto zoo is just about 15 minutes of walk away.
